Starfleet Shipyard →
Another official “Star Trek” site. The 3D exterior tour of the USS Kelvin is very cool. Clicking on certain sections of the ship will reveal more information (including the first photos of the crew). Via TrekWeb

Questions for David Lynch
New York Times Magazine: Do you plan to film your wedding?
David Lynch: No. It’s a hassle. So many things these days are made to look at later. Why not just have the experience and remember it?

Unfollowed
So I lost a follower. It might have been right around the time I posted that photo of myself for GPOYW. Hmm.

Who's Nailin' Paylin?
The last scene has a threeway with Serra Paylin, Hil, and Condi. Not that I’ve seen it. I certainly didn’t download it, either. How dare you.

Friday Minus Garfield
nycmeetups: Dan Walsh (Travors and Garfield Minus Garfield) and his fiance, Evie, are visiting from Dublin, Ireland. Let’s show them a good time! When: Friday, Nov. 14 (tomorrow!), at 7:30 PM Where: House of Brews, 302 W. 51st St. (51st and 8th). We’ve been there once before. OMFG
I’m pretty sure if I start watching “Gossip Girl” I’ll get hooked. So I’m saying “No.” For now, anyway. This coming from a guy who went to a “Felicity” series finale viewing party. That may be the gayest thing I’ve ever done. I miss that show.

The Amazing Race
Last night’s episode? Best of the season. The most unlikeable team got eliminated. It was great to see them humiliated on their last day, though. I was actually hoping that both bottom two teams would be eliminated. That’s never happened though. It’s hard to root for any of this year’s teams. I’m okay with a Toni/Dallas win.

Watching a pretty dark movie about a woman who makes the worst pies in London. Edward Scissorhands is now a angry barber. Borat and Snape are in, too.

Carlos Mencia on CNN?
Really? What could he possibly have to contribute? Besides jokes he stole from someone else. It could be worse, though. CNN’s political humorist could be … Dane Cook. Mencia’s not funny, but at least he eventually gets to the punchline.

Joss Whedon on villains
Vice: What do you think makes an ideal villain? JW: Perspective. An ideal villain is partially right. Vice: Any real-life examples? JW: Well, I don’t believe that George W. Bush is real. Vice: Don’t tell me you’re one of those people who thinks he’s a lizard! JW: He’s so arch it’s got to be fake. There are villains who’ve gotten so cartoonish, it’s like they’ve been watching 80’s...
